How can i change my head gasket for my 91 honda accord?

sein finn is correct!

If you haven't had any experience in auto-mechanics then you really need to take the car to an authorized mechanic. There are specialized tools involved which I'm quite sure that you don't have, and is absolutely neccessary for the job you are contemplating. I can tell you this! If you start the job and realize midway into it that you are way over your head, it's going to cost twice as much for someone to straighten out your mess than if you just took it to a mechanic in the first place! How can i change my head gasket for my 91 honda accord? If you're asking this question on yahoo answers you cannot change your head gasket. It is hard and requires a lot of equipment and is so much not fun. Take it to a good shop and save yourself the pain.

have a pro do it, not a easy job, if you blown a head gasket there is a chance the head has been warped and needs milled

i agree with both of them but if you dont have the money and you have to do it your self it really isnt that hard. hardest part is the timing and being singel cam its easy peazy. If your going to to do it your self buy a haynes manual it will help alot for specs also once you get the head off you can sent it to someone to go thru it for 100 bucks or so and they will make sure everything is good. odds of you warping a block are slim to none i had 14psi and a .56 a/r turbo on my prelude and warped the head 18 mills and the block was still straight.
It's not rocket sience but a Haynes manual would help. You will need the head skimmed, no way out of that. A mechanic will do it in a day, it took me a week to complete, on a Astra. Is that a VTEC engine? Quite a chalenge but o so sweet when she comes to life again
